So, I’m guessing you’ve stopped by here to find out a little bit more about me?…How nice of you!

My name is Sophie and I’m a Photographer and Blogger. I live in a town called Chorley, with the nearest city being Manchester. I live with my Mum and Dad, my younger sister Katie and my brother Jamie. I also have two cats, named Princess and Maisie. I love nothing more than spending time with family and friends, watching films, drinking cocktails, taking photo’s and writing up awesome posts for you lovely lot to read.

I left college in 2011, having studied Graphics and Photography. I started up my own Photography company, Little Photography Studio and have since photographed weddings, children, parties and events. I then decided to start blogging in August 2015 after a little persuasion from a very good friend. Now, I can’t imagine life without it! It excites me seeing my readers increase every day, as well as receiving so many wonderful messages and comments.

You can expect to read posts on Photography, Fashion, Beauty and Food…lot’s of it! There will also be the odd competition and sponsored post that you can get involved with too!

I’d just like to say a mahoosive THANK YOU to everyone who takes time out of their busy day to read what I write. I truly enjoy every minute of it and it amazes me to learn that you all do too! I hope I continue to brighten your day with what I have to say,

You’re the best!

Sincerely, Sophie xxx

Why did you decide to start blogging?

I decided to start blogging after a little persuasion from my best friend Steff. She’d been blogging for a few years and was always telling me how fun and exciting it was. She told me it was a great place to share my thoughts, my stories and to have a moan, and she’s right! It’s fab! I’d read other blogs in the past and I regularly watched the SacconeJoly’s on Youtube (If you haven’t heard of them look them up now!) and they kinda gave me that kick I needed to start up the blog. Since I posted my first post back in August 2015, my audience has grown, my viewing figures have increased and I’ve been introduced to this crazy, yet amazing world of blogging. I absolutely love it!

What attracts you to a blog?

I’d have to say appearance. I believe appearance says a lot about a person in both life and blogging. I find blogs with a little colour, eye-catching text and some great photos are a lot more interesting to read. Being a photographer, I love looking at photos, so if a blog includes some great photos in their posts them I’m more likely to read the entire post. I know that not everyone owns a state of the art camera and that’s ok, but I do believe that if you are serious about showcasing a product or a post to its fullest then the photos you include have to look decent. Maybe this is me being a little picky with being a photographer, but personally, I’m more likely to read a post that includes some great photo’s. I must add though spelling is also a massive factor. You don’t know who’s going to be reading your post, so what you write has to make sense and has to be as perfect as possible spelling wise. If you are unsure then use the spell checker or a thesaurus. Believe me, they help! Other than that though, Passion! If you are passionate about blogging then you can tell in your posts.

Where do you hope to be in 10 years time?

The thing I love about life is the unknown. Not knowing where I’ll be, what I’ll be doing and who with?

What I hope to be doing though is something related to photography and blogging. Maybe working in fashion and editorial. I’d love my blog to be one of the biggest ones out there and for people to truly respect and understand what I write. I hope my words and my photos inspire, help and talk to people. I’d love to be living in my own home, whether that’s here or America and that I’d be married to the man of my dreams. Maybe I’ll even have a baby or two and hundreds of cats? I hope whatever I’m doing and wherever I am that I’ll be happy and content.

What are your favourite things in life?

Bear with me…I have a few.

Pasta * Walks * Cats * Impractical Jokers * Warm Chocolate fudge cake and ice-cream * Friends (TV Show) * Music * Victoria sponge cake * Shopping * The Walking Dead * Anything that contains Pulled Pork * Christmas * America * Films (I’m a sucker for a RomCom!) * Photography * Blogging * Eating out * Catching up with Friends * Driving * Beauty * Victoria’s Secret * Zara * Cocktails * Men with Beards * Musicals * Period Drama’s * Shannon Leto * Soaps * Tearooms * Thrillers * Comedy’s * Travel * Sunsets * Day’s out!

What has been your proudest achievement(s)?

This is a difficult one. I’m not yet married and I have no children so it’s not any of them at the moment.

Work wise it would probably be between a few things. Starting up Little Photography Studio and Sincerely Sophie are probably on top but then having my work featured on Rock N Roll Bride was awesome and a real fist pump moment, as well as, being featured with another wedding in the South Cumbria Weddings Magazine. To be shown recognition for your work is the best feeling. I also like seeing clients use my photos of them on their social media and then reading all the lovely comments.

My greatest Personal Achievement(s) would have to be FINALLY passing my driving test at 23 years old, first time too! I’m very proud of that! Also, I’d probably add meeting Maroon 5 as well. To spend your time in college listening to their music and swooning over Adam Levine every day, to actually being invited into their dressing room by Adam and the band themselves was amazing! It’s got to be the most surreal moment of my life…casually chatting to Adam Levine and drinking Champagne. Mad!
