Hello

I’m Sophie. A photographer and blogger based in and around Lancashire.

I left Runshaw College in 2011, having studied Graphics and Photography. I then started up my own Photography business and have since photographed many weddings, families, portraits and events. In August 2015, after a little persuasion from a very good friend, I decided to start a blog. I have since wrote many posts, ranging from product reviews to personal issues, opinions and everyday topics.

Aside from Photography and blogging, I like to spend any spare time I have with my boyfriend and our family and friends. I enjoy travelling, learning, hitting the shops and pushing myself to the limit. I’m also a sucker for a cheesy romcom.

I believe...

…that things happen for a reason. Sprouts are the devil and mushrooms are just as bad. We should all do one thing a day that scares us. I’m pretty good at parking. Laughing is the greatest calorie burner. In reincarnation. That a woman can never have enough shoes. Happy girls make the prettiest girls.

My bucket list consists of...

…travel Route 66. Ride in a hot air balloon. Swim with Dolphins. Get married. Stargaze on a beach. Go to a barn dance. Have a baby (or 2). Learn spannish. Buy a house. Travel to the Maldives. Visit an elephant sanctuary. Write a book.

A few things that make me happy are...

…seeing my boyfriend after weeks apart. Hugs. Recieving lovely comments from my clients and readers. New friends. Road trips. Taking photo’s. Hearing “I love you”. Cosy winter nights. The festive season. Good hair days. Winter walks. Beach days. Prosecco. Writing. Exploring new places. Setting goals and achieving them.

My proudest achievements are...

…setting up my photography business. Finally finding a good use for my love of writing. Finally passing my driving test at 23 years old. Buying my first car. Having a wedding featured on Rock N Roll Bride. Having another wedding featured in the South Cumbria Weddings magazine. Meeting my Mr Right. Seeing my happy clients share my work on social media. Meeting Maroon 5 and being invited backstage by Mr Adam Levine himself. Skydiving in Auckland. Gaining my wings (Cabin Crew). Travelling the east coast of the USA.
